About the Founder
I was born in St. Louis and raised in southeast Texas, mainly calling Clear Lake, TX my home.
Growing up with sisters, painting my nails became one of the things I was allowed to do and actually brought me peace. As I grew up, I started going to the nail shops to fill that need but increased my cost, risk of disease and needing to fill out schedule a babysitter just to get my nails hooked up, was too much. I was not about that life and I wasn’t relaxed. I’m woman. Hear me roar. I managed and coughed up the money. I even spent money on memberships for nail polish clubs but the yearning for sturdiness and longevity eluded me.
We will not bring up the time one of my selling passions collided with press on nails. Lunching with co-workers and crab legs with false nail flying under the beverage station. You’re welcome. Frustrated and fed up was an understatement.
Then the plague hit. I didn’t have time for that. That was it. I still had to work and be presentable why couldn’t I do it myself. I’m pretty determined and brought my childhood passion to life.
Control. I wanted my nails in my hands, on my terms. Diamond Reine USA was born.
